Drug Uses

Viagra is used in the therapy of erectile dysfunction. Viagra improves the flow of blood into the male organ and preserves erection while conducting sexual activities. Cialis helps men to attain and sustain an erection for a longer time while having sexual activities.  Both are oral medications.

Viagra is usually suggested to take 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. It can also be taken 4 hours prior to sexual activity. The dosage should not go beyond one in 24 hours. You must always obey your doctor’s dosage instructions while taking Cialis. If you still have any uncertainties then there will be detailed dosage instructions on the medicine label. Cialis comes in different doses like 5mg, 10mg, and 20 mg. The typical dose for starting with Cialis is 10mg once a day. You should take it half an hour before sexual exercise.

Drug Class and Mechanism

Viagra benefits to treat impotence in men. Viagra is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. Viagra aids in increasing the blood flow into the penis thereby keeping a strong erection during sexual activities. Cialis is a type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitor. It acts by helping the blood rush into a penis to obtain and keep an erection.

Missed Dose

Since Viagra is an ED medication, it must only be utilized when needed. So, there are no odds of a missed dose since it is not taken according to a routine dosage schedule. You need to take Cialis only prior to sexual activity. You should not take Cialis more than one dose a day.

Keep Viagra and Cialis at room temperature within 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C). Shield it from direct exposure to light, heat, and moisture. Store it away from children and pets.
