ALBENDAZOLE is very effective in handling certain tapeworm infections and it works by eliminating sensitive parasites.
Usage
Strictly follow your doctor's instructions. Read the label outside the medicine packet to get more detailed information about components and usage.
Albendazole will be very effective if ingested after a meal. If you have difficulty swallowing the tablet whole, it may be broken or chewed with a little water. It is very important that you finish the dosage schedule. If there are multiple doses try to repeat the next day's dose at the same time as last day's.

Missed Dose
Make sure you take the doses properly as suggested by the doctor without missing. In case you missed any, please allow a gap of at least 4 to 5 hours. If this is not feasible, then the best thing to do would be to leap the missed dose and maintain the rest of the doses strictly.
Never have a double dose together. It may create unfavorable effects.
Storage
Keep ALBENDAZOLE at room temperature within 68 and 77 degrees F(20 and 25 degrees C). Always keep it in a place where direct heat, light, or moisture is not spoiling the ingredients. Carefully keep the medicine away from children and pets.
Warning/Precautions
If you are allergic to any ingredients or benzimidazoles (e.g., rabeprazole)doctors will not recommend this medicine to you.
Address your previous and present medical details to your doctor before commencing treatment with Albendazole. If you are using any herbaceous supplements or OTC medication, for example, vitamin tablets, specify it to your doctor. Avoid close contact with people who have colds or infections while on medication.
ALBENDAZOLE might raise the risk of getting dizziness or drowsiness. This risk considerably increases if you combine it with alcoholic beverages. So please avoid them while taking ALBENDAZOLE. Also, avoid partaking in any tasks which need mental alertness, for instance, driving requires you to be alert.
Doctors may suggest some laboratory tests like full blood cell counts and liver function tests to discover how you have responded to medication and to know the severity of the side effects of the drug if any. Please Keep all lab reports handy when you consult the doctor.
ALBENDAZOLE is not a medicine for pregnant women or newborn babies.
If you are anticipating a child or are preparing to have a child in the near future, then ask your doctor before using ALBENDAZOLE. It is advised to avoid conceiving while you are taking it and for at least 1 month after you stop taking it. Breastfeeding mothers also should be careful and ask a medical practitioner before taking Albendazole.
